Constipation can be an uncomfortable and frustrating problem that many people face. Fortunately, there are natural remedies that can help ease constipation, such as increasing fiber intake and drinking plenty of fluids. One delicious way to do this is by making a constipation smoothie.

Here is a simple and tasty constipation smoothie recipe:

- 1 cup of dairy free coconut milk kefir (or coconut/almond milk)

- 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries (organic if possible) - 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen mangoes or kiwi (if not allergic) - 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple (contains bromelain which helps with digestion) - 1/2 cup of frozen zucchini or spinach

- 1 - 2 tablespoon of ground flax

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

This smoothie is packed with fiber, which can help to promote healthy bowel movements. The mango, pineapple and berries provide natural sweetness, while the ground flaxseed add a boost of omega-3 fatty acids and additional fiber. The spinach / zucchini adds an extra dose of vitamins and minerals, making this smoothie a great way to start your day.

It's important to note that while this smoothie can help alleviate constipation, it should not be the only solution if you are experiencing chronic constipation. It is always best to consult with a healthcare professional if you are experiencing prolonged or severe constipation.

A constipation smoothie can be a delicious and natural way to help ease constipation. Give it a try and see how it can benefit your digestive system.

Remember, as you increase your fiber, make sure to increase your water intake!
